These Little Houses make a pretty pair, positioned (in full sun) in a local allotment and providing plenty of pleasure for people of all ages (added bonus - they require very little watering). The first on the patch is a swing frame and nest swing for the adults, to 'take five' between tending and to sway the stresses of a serious day’s gardening away. The second is a structure for the younger gardeners in the group, with a fixed slide and rope climbing wall on one end and a versatile frame with 6 fixings, which can hold a variety of swings, ropes, trapeze swing and hoops, and a big gymnastics hoop to (welly) boot. (Green) fingers can hang their equipment of choice to suit the season or simply the horticulturalist’s preference. Appropriate that this variety mirrors the range of veg grown in this collective communal crop. We think that this batch of Little Houses is a strong contender for ‘Best in Show’ and we hope that the multiple families who share this super space harvest many happy hours of fun here!
