In Japan, cherry blossoms are associated with spring, new beginnings, and the appreciation of beauty in the present moment. And while it might technically be summer, we think that our latest Little House invokes those associations perfectly. And this is not just a play structure which will bring joy to one family - the cherry on top of this sweet structure is its communal nature. Just as the fruits of the cherry tree can be shared and enjoyed by many, so too can this Little House, which spans a private garden and a communal shared space in the city where neighbourhood children play. The climbing wall positioned adjacent to a wild cherry tree on the garden side leads to a platform extending over the communal area, where the local children create new memories playing beautifully together on the slide and monkey bars. While we can’t cherry pick our favourite Little Houses as we love them all, we think that this build is blooming brilliant!
